  1. A followup of this Gregorian chant workshop:

Our teacher was of course Dom Yves-Marie Lelièvre from Solesmes Benedictine monastery. This monk-priest has got such a gentle way of teaching. We learned the propers of 3rd Easter Sunday; Father explained the old neumes in the Graduale Triplex.

We sang many hours of the divine office (Lauds/Sexte/Vespers/Complines) according to the Liturgy of the Hours, new breviary post Vatican II.
Stan Metheny was our teacher for the LOTH:

And of course we ended up singing the mass on Saturday evening, 3rd Easter Sunday, with ALL the propers and the whole Kyriale I "Lux Origo" + Credo III! Dom Yves-Marie was conducting us. That was greaaat!

Finally the mass on 8th morning at 10:30 was celebrated by Dom Yves-Marie and this time the St James schola sang the propers and a polyphonic mass.

    Unforgettable weekend. 🙂
