Early music course in NY this June

Presenters of summer educational events are putting the word out.

The Eastman School of Music is offering a one-week course on Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony again this year. This time Michael Dean Anderson is presenting a program in New York City from June 10 to 14. Information is at the Eastman web site.

Catholic liturgical music is serious, solemn, transcendent, but Catholic musicians are never more fun and inspiring than when they are talking about what they love most. This is what happens at sacred music events around the world: the social and intellectual are critically important elements.
