God of mercy, you wash away our sins in water,
you give us new birth in the Spirit,

What happened to "sacratae" in this Vox Clara rewrite?
Where did "we pray" come from, since it's not in the Latin, and Liturgiam Authenticam says to translate the Latin?

I see more and more that the old translation was the Catholic equivalent of the Good News or Blue Jeans bible.
I'm pleased to see that the 2008 employs "kindle" (singular).
