Salve Regina by Ugolino

This might be the first-ever recording of a Salve Regina by the master of the Borghese Chapel in Rome, a composer named Ugolino (correction: Vincenzo Ugolini), in the first decades of the 17th century. The Mass of which this was part, held at Borghese Chapel of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, is detailed on NLM.

  1. I'm guessing that it's a composition by Vincenzo Ugolini (ca. 1580-1638), who studied with Nanino. One of his motets was written for the 1620 inauguration of the Cardinal Scipio Borghese as Archpriest of the Vatican Basilica.
